BLOOMINGTON, ILL. – Four state
agricultural associations received a boost at the 14th
annual Illinois Commodities Conference last week in
Bloomington.
1st Farm Credit Services in
Bloomington-Normal and Farm Credit Services in Champaign
donated checks of $1,000 each to the Illinois Corn Growers
Association, the Illinois Soybean Association, the Illinois
Beef Association and the Illinois Pork Producers
Association.
"These organizations are advocates for our
clients," said 1st Farm Credit Services President/CEO Gary
Ash. "It is part of our mission to keep our clients
financially strong, and supporting these organizations helps
achieve that goal."
The checks, presented at the conference, are
intended for expenses the associations incur during
day-to-day operations.
"We are very grateful for this donation and our continued
partnership with the Farm Credit organizations," said George
Dixon, chairman of the Illinois Soybean Association.
