NORMAL, IL. – 1st Farm Credit
Services welcomes Jess Houghton as the new director of
marketing. Houghton will over see marketing efforts for the
20 branches of 1st FCS from the central branch in
Normal.
A graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art,
Houghton spent 17 years with Morton Building, in Morton,
Ill., as the art director and then director of advertising
and marketing. A native of Galva, Ill., he was most recently
senior vice president of account services at a local ad
agency. His expertise includes strategic planning,
coordination of advertising and marketing materials, direct
mail, brochures, media buying, video and trade shows.
1st Farm Credit Services leads the industry in
farm real estate loans, and provides various services such
as crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
farmland appraisals. The cooperative serves 42 counties in
the northern half of Illinois through its 20 local offices.
