Alicia Kramer of Fairbury and Keith Detwiler
of Bourbonnais recently took positions in the 1st Farm
Credit Services branch offices.
Kramer, a graduate of the University of
Illinois with a degree in agribusiness, will become a vice
president at the Pontiac branch, where she will serve the
financial needs of area clients. After joining 1st FCS in
June, she now officially transfers to Pontiac as a vice
president.
The youngest of six children raised on a
farm in rural Farina, Ill., Kramer will bring her
understanding of agriculture in assisting 1st FCS clients.
"I’m looking forward to finding ways to help farmers grow
their operations, and help strengthen our rural
communities," said Kramer.
Detwiler has been with 1st FCS for the past
two and a half years. He moves from the Macomb office to
serve Bourbonnais as a loan officer.
Raised working on his grandparent’s farm in
Flanagan, Ill., Detwiler raised beef cattle through high
school and during his days at Illinois State University,
where he graduated with a double major in agribusiness and
animal science.
"1st Farm Credit offers me the chance to
help people," said Detwiler. "The idea that I can assist in
a land purchase that the buyer had always wanted, or help
them develop a strategy to buyout a retiring farmer’s line
of equipment, I know I’m doing something important."
