EUREKA, ILL. – 1st
Farm Credit Services welcomes Rod Robenstein as Vice
President of the Eureka branch office. Robenstein will
assist clients in Tazewell, Woodford, and part of Marshall
Counties with their agricultural financing needs.
Robenstein joined 1st
FCS January 3, 2006. He is a Woodford County native,
growing up on his family’s farm in Congerville. He has a BS
in Ag Economics from Montana State University and his
Masters degree in Ag Economics from North Carolina State
University.
For the past 12 years, Robenstein has been a Farm Business
Consultant for Farm Business Farm Management, working with
clients in western Tazewell County. He is looking forward
to using his experience with the FBFM program to assist 1st
Farm Credit Services clients in Tazewell, Woodford and parts
of Marshall Counties. He and his wife Angie live in East
Peoria with their three children, Josh, Trent and Tyler.
“It will be enjoyable to return
to my home county, and get re-acquainted with the names and
faces of those involved in agriculture in the area ,”
Robenstein said. “I feel my experience with FBFM can assist
clients in the Eureka area, and I look forward to working
with the clients here.”
In addition to Robenstein, Craig Pontius will also be
working with clients in the Marshall, Tazewell, and Woodford
county areas. Pontius, who has been with the association
for 25 years, currently serves as Vice President in the
association’s Pekin office. His expertise is working with
large, commercial farming operations. Pontius, wife Denise
and his family live in Morton.
