NORMAL, ILL. – 1st Farm Credit Services
welcomes Ryan Voorhees as a Crop Insurance Specialist in the

assist clients with their crop insurance needs in McLean,
Tazewell and Woodford counties.
Voorhees is a native of Washington, Ill. He
grew up on a diversified crop, hog, and beef cattle
operation. Ten years ago, Voorhees started a sweet corn and
pumpkin road side stand on the farm.
Voorhees graduated from the University of
Illinois with a B.S. in Agri Finance. He was active in the

"I am looking forward to meeting and working

years in Illinois, it appears that crop insurance coverage
is no longer being considered an option but a requirement
for a successful operation."
