DECATUR – As thousands of
people are expected to attend the 2007 Farm Progress Show,
the future of rural America and agriculture is bright.
The show, which has many
glimpses into upcoming technology, shows that agriculture is
changing and solid.
“As investors in rural
America, the Farm Progress Show gives support to our mission
and reinforces our dedication,” said 1st Farm
Credit Services Chief Marketing Officer Terry L. Hinds. “We
see that companies, like ourselves, are taking new steps and
creating innovations that will change agriculture and rural
life.”

Services is among the 400 exhibitors that come to the show
to share their products that carter to agriculture. As part
of the Farm Credit system, 1st Farm Credit
Services provides financing to several aspects of life in
rural America.
1st Farm Credit
Services is also a sponsor of Cultivating Master Farmers,
which uses the show to inspire a round table discussion
between Master Farmers and their younger counterparts. The
program is designed to allow an open discussion about the
business of agriculture between farmers from across
Illinois. The group will meet several times over the next
year and a half.

Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture
loans, risk management products and various services such as
crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative serves
42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through its 18
local offices.
