Spirit, a publication of the 1st Farm Credit
Services, has placed third in a national contest.
The Cooperative Communicators
Association named the quarterly publication third in the
member publication category of an annual contest.
The publication has a
circulation of 14,000 and is distributed to the
client-owners and friends of 1st Farm Credit
Services. Judges said the magazine has strong
content, photography and design.
The publication was created
in 1992 to share stories and educate client-owners.
The Cooperative Communicators Association is a nationwide
group made up of more than 350 people who work at
cooperatives in communication roles.
1st
Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture
loans, risk management products and various services such as
crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative serves
42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through its 18
local offices.
