NORMAL – Michael Burns has
joined 1st Farm Credit Services as an associate
lending officer.
Burns, originally from
Jetmore, Kan., has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in
agriculture economics from Kansas State University. He was
active in FFA on local, state and national levels and served
as student body president at Kansas State University.
He is currently in a training program to become a vice
president at a branch office within the association. He
lives in Normal.

Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture
loans, risk management products, and provides various
services such as crop insurance, loan and lease options, as
well as agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative
serves 42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through
its 17 local offices.
