BOURBONNAIS – Jeff Hacker, an
appraiser with 1st Farm Credit Services, has been
awarded the Accredited Rural Appraiser designation from the
American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
Hacker of Chebanse has worked
for 1st Farm Credit Services for three years and
worked in the appraisal field for more than 22 years.
To earn the ARA designation,
Hacker had to meet requirements for experience and
education, as well as passing rigorous oral and written
examinations.
The American Society of Farm
Managers and Rural Appraisers is the premier professional
organization for property economics professionals who
provide management, consultation and valuation services on
rural and agricultural assets.
Hacker previously received a
Senior Residential Appraiser designation by the Appraisal
Institute.
Hacker is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a
degree in agricultural industries. He and his wife, June,
have two children.

Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture
loans, risk management products and various services such as
crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative serves
42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through its 18
local offices.
