Farm Credit Services offers many excellent career opportunities.

Field office positions include:

  • Loan Officers provide agricultural and financial expertise to clients. They combine their agricultural and business knowledge with an in-depth understanding of each client’s current financial position in order to provide innovative and workable alternatives to solve problems the client faces in their business.
  • Client or Field Service Representatives market and deliver credit and related services to clients and provide discretionary service, which exceeds client expectations. This position works closely with the Financial Services Officer to service all aspects of client relationships. They also provide administrative support for the branch.
  • Credit Analysts Officers analyze and process loan and lease requests from the field. They act on requests within delegated authority and establish appropriate terms to manage loan risks.
  • Appraisers conduct on-site appraisals and valuations of real estate and chattel properties.
  • Crop Insurance Specialists work with field team members in selling and servicing crop insurance to clients.

Positions located in the Bloomington, Illinois and Champaign, Illinois administrative offices include:

  • Accounting department provides accounting services for the association, including loan accounting, accounts payable, general ledger and support.
  • Audit department provides reviews of association operations.
  • Credit department includes the lending and leasing operations, risk management, credit analysis, and credit procedures.
  • Human Resources department provides benefits administration, training and development, and recruiting for the association.
  • Legal department provides legal council to the association and support to the credit operations.
  • Marketing department develops and manages the association’s marketing, advertising, communications, and public and media relations programs to effectively support the association’s marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Systems and Technology department provides technology development, installation, instruction and support.
