Farm Credit Services of Illinois Names November Operating Loan Sales Leader

Champaign, Illinois, December 10, 2003 – Brent Stayton, Farm Credit Services of Illinois Assistant Regional Vice President for the Monroe and Randolph markets, has been honored with the Association’s “Greyhound Award” for closing the most new operating and machinery loans for the month of November.

Stayton began his Farm Credit Services of Illinois career in 1981 at the Belleville branch, serving St. Clair County as assistant loan officer. He was named loan officer at the Waterloo branch office in 1985, vice president of the Sparta branch office in 1988 and Assistant Regional Vice President at the Red Bud branch office in 1999. The Red Bud office has approximately $50 million in loan volume with farmers in Monroe and Randolph counties.

Stayton was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm near Carlinville, Illinois. He earned his finance degree from Eastern Illinois University. He and his wife have three daughters.
