Scholarship Program helps young people who are studying
agriculture or an agriculture-related career with the
financial requirements of that education. We believe it’s
important for students to have access to a variety of
financial resources to help realize their dreams. We’re
excited we are able to help these students, as well as those
that will benefit in the years ahead.”
Winners were chosen from a field of more than
100 applicants. The annual We Understand Scholarship Program
offers 18 $750 scholarships to eligible applicants who
reside in the 60 southern counties in Illinois. The program
is designed for high school seniors pursuing agriculture or
agriculture-related degrees at any university, college or
community college. Selection is based on a combination of
academic achievement, community/church/extra-curricular
activities, 4-H and FFA involvements, and a written essay.
