Community College Scholarship Programs

1^st Farm Credit Services offers eight Community College Scholarships each year to assist deserving students to further their education in an agriculture or agriculture-related field of study, and to help promote agriculture as a growing field of career opportunities. The recipients of the $500 scholarship are selected by the partnering community colleges. Learn More

1^st Farm Credit Services partners with Illinois State University with the John Leatherbury Scholarship.  The $1,500 scholarship is given to a student with an agriculture major, with consideration of academic performance.  The university selects the recipient.  For more information, contact the Illinois State University Agriculture Department.

1^st Farm Credit Servivces Scholarship - Western Illinois University

1^st Farm Credit Services partners with Western Illinois University for a scholarship named after the assocation. The $1,500 scholarship is given to a student with an agriculture major, with consideration of academic performance.  The university selects the recipient.  For more information, contact the Western Illinois University Agriculture Department.
