NEW LEADERS NAMED TO BOARD
David H. Peters of Manteno was elected to the board by fellow client-owners of the association. His term is for four years.
Peters farms with family members and custom farms in a grain operation producing wheat, soybeans and corn.
Kathleen Hainline of Stanford was appointed to the board by her fellow board members. Her position as an appointed outside director serves as a financial expert on the board’s audit committee.
Hainline is currently affiliated with Advance Trading, Inc. Her principal occupation is agriculture risk management consulting/brokerage. She has seventeen years of auditing experience in financial institutions and agribusiness.
Also, re-elected to a four-year term by client owners were David Keller of Mt Carroll, Kevin Aves of Kirkland and John Schmitt of Quincy.
Keller farms with a family member in their corn, soybean and hay operation. They also have a beef cow/calf herd. He has served on the Board since 1987.
Aves farms with family members in their corn, soybean and wheat operation. He has served on the Board since 1992.
Schmitt has a corn, soybean, hay and other forages operation. He also has a beef cattle operation. He has served on the Board since 1995.

1st Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture loans, risk management products and various services such as crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative serves 42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through its 16 local offices.
