4-H Community Improvement Grants Presented by 1^st Farm Credit Services
NORMAL – 4-H Clubs across Illinois received Sharing a Vision for Healthy Communities program grants, sponsored in part by 1^st Farm Credit Services. The 4-H groups were awarded grants of between $50 and $150 to fund selected projects. The state 4-H office made the selections based on applications. Fortunate 4 Rural America 2011 Photo Submission Calendar
Show what makes you fortunate for rural America in the 2011 1^st Farm Credit Services Calendar! For the upcoming calendar, we are again asking our clients and friends to submit images of life in rural America. Send us your photos, either in print or digitally. You don’t have to be a professional to submit a photo. The photo can be brand new, or something dating back decades. Princeton Branch named Beef Backer
The Princeton Branch of 1^st Farm Credit Services was given the Beef Backer award from the Bureau County Cattlemen’s Association. The award is given to recognize those who help support and promote beef. Branch team members contribute to the area’s beef industry by providing crop insurance and loans to producers, while also volunteering at the Beef and Ag Days cooking and serving beef. Crop Insurance Specialist Myron Rumbold also serves on the board for the Bureau County Cattlemen Association. The branch was presented the award at the 31^st Annual Beef and Ag Festival.
